Tracy Sher is a pelvic physical therapist and is the founder of Pelvic Guru, Pelvic Guru Academy, and the Global Pelvic Health Alliance Membership. She is also an instructor for Pelvic Guru Academy, teaching Pudendal Neuralgia and Complex Pelvic Pain Solutions.
Gráinne Donnelly, (BSc(Hons) PgC MSc PhD(C)
Gráinne Donnelly is an Advanced Practice Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, educator and doctoral researcher. She is also the editor of a new scientific textbook "Sports Medicine and the Pelvic Floor - Science to Practice and the current Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physioherapy
Jenny LaCross PT, DPT, PhD, PWCS, ATC, CLT
Jenny LaCross is a residency-trained, board-certified clinical specialist in Pelvic & Women's Health physical therapy through the American Board of Physical TherapySpecialties, as well as a certified athletic trainer. Jenny has loved moving her whole life:dance, lacrosse, and eventually CrossFit, which she finally workedup the courage to try in 2022 and hasn't looked back since. That lifelong relationshipwith movement, paired with over a decade working in settings at the intersection of sportsmedicine and pelvic health, led Jenny to pursue her PhD studying hip pain in activewomen during squatting activities. The results of her dissertation work highlighted theimportance of individualized coaching and interventions for this population, as well asthe importance of screening for pelvic health concerns in individuals with hip painacross the adult lifespan, as hip pain and pelvic symptoms commonly co-occur. Clinically, she specializes in pelvic floor disorders, with a particular focus on pelvic organprolapse, urinary symptoms, bowel dysfunction, and hip pain. Jenny has worked with active individuals and female athletes across the adult lifespan, all over the country, and recently completed a 3-year postdoctoral research fellowship at University of Michigan with the Pelvic Floor Research Group, studying pelvic floor anatomy and function following birth and birth injury. As of August 1st, Jenny began her new role as an Assistant Professor in the departments of Physical Therapy at University of Michigan-Flint (DPT and PhD programs) and Urogynecology at Michigan Medicine.
Anna Warrener, Ph.D.
My research focuses on the evolution of the human musculoskeletal system using biomechanical techniques to assess how variation in physical structure affects locomotor performance. I'm specifically interested in the human pelvis and how its unique anatomy impacts both locomotion and human birth.
Carina Siracusa, PT, DPT, EdD, PWCS, OnCS
Dr. Carina Siracusa has been a physical therapist for over 21 years and has been practicing in pelvic health for 19 of those years. She has a particular interest in bowel and neurogenic pelvic floor issues. Her primary job is as an assistant professor at South College Knoxville's DPT program. She also still practices in pelvic health clinics where she treats neuro bowel and bladder as well as with the colorectal surgeons. She has presented nationally and internationally on these topics. She also currently serves as the secretary for the IOPPWH.
