What can I expect?

Dr. Kathryn Witzeman will present a summary of important peri and menopause care and then both Dr. Sher and Dr. Witzeman will answer any and all questions related to helping patients. Bring your questions from the conference or new ones not discussed yet.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Define perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause time frames.
  • Describe symptomatic impacts of the primary hormonal fluctuations during a normal menstrual cycle as well as the perimenopausal transition.
  • Describe potential non-pharmacologic options for managing symptoms of perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause.
Feel comfortable navigating psychosocial nuances while learning practical skills to do so.

Kathryn Witzeman, MD, FACOG

Kathryn Witzeman, MD is a Clinical Professor of OBGYN at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Past-President of the International Pelvic Pain Society. Her clinical interests include vulvovaginal disorders, menstrual disorders, menopausal problems, pelvic pain, integrative medicine, and biomedical ethics.
