Tracy Sher is a pelvic physical therapist and is the founder of Pelvic Guru, Pelvic Guru Academy, and the Global Pelvic Health Alliance Membership. She is also an instructor for Pelvic Guru Academy, teaching Pudendal Neuralgia and Complex Pelvic Pain Solutions.
Amanda Olson, PT, DPT, PRPC
I am an enthusiastic doctor of physical therapy with over a decade of clinical and educational experience. I am certified in the area of pelvic floor physical therapy with an overall passion for education. I have been practicing physical therapy since 2008, and have had the pleasure of practicing in a variety of clinical settings including a research hospital Gait Laboratory where I conducted motion analysis and participated in research on gait and chest expansion. My doctoral research titled “A Postural Perturbation Study on Children with Down Syndrome” was presented as a platform at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) in 2009, and I had the opportunity to teach clinical skills to medical staff and physical therapists in Nicaragua in 2008.
I have taken extensive coursework in treatment of the pelvic floor and nutrition resulting in CAPP-PF certification by the APTA, and PRPC by the Herman and Wallace Institute. I am also certified as a Stott Pilates instructor and an RRCA Certified Running coach. I am the author of the book Restoring the Pelvic Floor For Women on pelvic floor dysfunction.
Additionally I have written five peer reviewed continuing education courses to date for physical therapists.
