Meet
Dr. Lori Mize, PT, DPT, WCS

Dr. Lori Mize is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Physical Therapist who lives and works on her family’s multigenerational farm in rural Arkansas with her husband, Joseph and their children. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 2004 and has devoted her career to advancing pelvic health care in both clinical and academic settings. In 2010, she founded a pelvic health specialty clinic in Conway, Arkansas. Dr. Mize has over a decade of teaching experience as core faculty at the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Lynchburg. She currently serves as faculty in the University of Utah’s Hybrid DPT program.
Dr. Mize’s research interests center on pelvic floor dysfunction, particularly in devout Christian women experiencing pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction, as well as rehabilitation following hysterectomy. Her additional scholarly work explores the integration of arts and humanities in physical therapy education, with a focus on how visual art analysis can enhance clinical observation, communication skills, and tolerance of ambiguity in healthcare providers.She is a seasoned educator and leader within the field of pelvic health with experience in the APTA’s Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, where she has served nationally and internationally as faculty, Vice President, and Director of Education. Dr. Mize currently teaches in the pelvic health certification series for Evidence in Motion and is a founding faculty member for Pelvic Health Korea. She frequently presents at national and international conferences on topics related to pelvic health, education, and interdisciplinary care.
Dr. Mize is the Founder of Pelvic Restoration, where she works to establish pelvic health programs and train PT and OT providers in underserved rural clinics and served as Chief Education Officer for the PHreedom Foundation for Pelvic Health. She and her husband are also co-founders of Revealed Image Ministries, which promotes holistic healing through body, mind, and spirit integration, with a special focus on marriage restoration and sex. 
Outside of her professional roles, Lori enjoys life on the farm, gardening, hiking, canning, cooking, and spending time with her four children and five grandchildren.
