Medical Therapeutic Yoga is an integrative, trauma-informed voice to pelvic floor approach to teach you how to address mental health, chronic pain, disability and disease prevention, and musculoskeletal management across the lifespan. MTY prepares you to use yoga as both a diagnostic and interventional tool. This certification is appropriate for all levels and abilities, no yoga experience required. MTY Certification is the only certification of its type that teaches post-graduate level therapeutic yoga specific to PT/OT scope of practice. You'll learn how to teach yoga therapeutically - 1-on-1 or in groups, in person or via telehealth, and to also address compassion fatigue and burnout at the same time. MTY is a systems-based, biopsychosocial model that prepares you to use yoga therapeutically with all populations across the lifespan - not just for diagnosis and treatment, but also for wellness and population health.
